Joseph is one of the founders of APIS and has over 30 years of experience as a chief executive officer of university hospitals: Hotel-Dieu de France Hospital, University Medical Center – Rizk Hospital, and most recently at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He also serves as advisor in strategy and finance of various healthcare institutions.
As a consultant, Joseph has led projects focused on healthcare institutions governance, strategy and financial structure and systems, as well as due diligence, leading to institution’s restructuring to better face its current and future challenges. He introduced many innovations in the hospital industry, namely in financing operations, financing investments, and marketing.
Joseph teaches Management of Healthcare Institutions in the Masters of Business program of the Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) and at École Supérieure des Affaires(ESA), Clemenceau (Lebanon).
